USAA Employees Take Part in Pre-Dawn Military Exercises, Learning “What It Means to Serve”
October 11, 2024, more than 400 of our teammates answered the pre-dawn wakeup call for our 35th Zero PT Day.
SAN ANTONIO – On October 11, 2024, over 400 of our teammates answered the pre-dawn wakeup call for our 35th Zero Day PT (physical training). Simulating the first day of bootcamp, this event gives us a glimpse into our military members’ lives, and spoiler alert: It’s tough!
“They go through an immersive process to learn about the military, they learn about the different services and ranks so that when they come back into the office, they can serve our membership that much better. They can say they’ve been in their boots for just a millisecond,” said Chase S., a USAA learning performance consultant.
Zero-Day PT was founded by a group of USAA employees sixteen years ago. Participants range from new employees to executives. The event has been held across multiple USAA locations with over 6,000 participants.
